Mark Lega, MD

Dr. Lega helps patients manage shortness of breath, cough, and sleep apnea and also treats lung nodules and lung cancer. He provides wound care and critical care. He is experienced in administering bronchoscopy. Among his clinical interests are hyperbaric oxygen, lung transplantation, and fibrosis.

Dr. Lega received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. He furthered his training with a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He speaks English, Italian, and German. Dr. Lega has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in Pittsburgh by Pittsburgh Magazine.
