Dr. Altschuler received his medical degree from the University of Arizona and completed his general surgery internship and neurosurgery residency at University Health Centers of Pittsburgh Presbyterian-University Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
He has received numerous academic achievement and awards, served as chapter president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society (AOA) at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, and recently served as president of the Pennsylvania Neurosurgery Society.
Dr. Aguilar and Dr. Altschuler practice with the physicians of Allegheny Health Network Neurosurgery; They see patients in the Jefferson Hills, Bethel Park, Mon Valley and Uniontown areas.
