Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Payha specializes in benign and malignant diseases of the breast, hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, and soft tissue mass excisions.
Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Payha earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency at Wright State University Health System in Dayton, Ohio. He has been in practice in Westmoreland County for 20 years and is pleased to now provide care to patients at Forbes Hospital.
He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical and Westmoreland County Medical societies.
