Amit Chopra, MD

Dr. Chopra specializes in psychiatry and sleep medicine with a focus on treatment of mood disorders, brain stimulation, and sleep disorders. Dr. Chopra serves as Medical Director for Center for Psychiatric Neuromodulation that offers advanced brain stimulation techniques such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for patients with treatment-resistant major depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Dr. Chopra also leads the Center for Treatment-Resistant Depression that offers multidisciplinary evidence-based clinical interventions for patients with difficult to treat depression.

Dr. Chopra has authored a book 'Management of Sleep disorders in Psychiatry'. He has received numerous awards for service, academic excellence, research achievements, and presentations. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He speaks English and Hindi.
