Marco Mazzella

Dr. Marco Mazzella is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist with additional emphasis in nuclear cardiology. He practices at Midwest Heart and Vascular Specialists in Lee?s Summit, Mo. and Warrensburg, Mo. He is affiliated with Lee?s Summit Medical Center and Research Medical Center. Dr. Mazzella has nearly 20 years of experience and expertise in conditions such as acute coronary syndrome (ACS), atherosclerosis, arrhythmia, heart attack, high cholesterol, hypertension, blood clots and other heart diseases. He has been active in clinical research, with articles in publications such as the Journal of the American Cardiology, and has served in committee and leadership roles throughout his career. Dr. Mazzella is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiologists and a former fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
