Perminder Dhillon, MD

Perminder Dhillon, MD, is an internist specializing in Geriatric Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn. Dr. Dhillon provides primary care to adults as well as geriatric populations with multiple geriatric issues. She is an expert in the management of Alzheimer's disease, diabetes and hyptertension and also assists patients in making lifestyle changes for healthy living through weight management and smoking cessation. Dr. Dhillon earned her medical degree from Meerut University in India and completed her internal medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She was awarded by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for Excellence in Delivery of Outstanding Preventive Care in 2015 and has contributed research to the field of geriatric medicine on subjects ranging from nutrition to rhumatoid arthritis. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
