Mehreen Haqqie, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Department of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and a family medicine physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Astoria, NY. Dr. Haqqie provides a full spectrum of services and has a special interest in women’s health and preventive care. She is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, and the New York State Academy of Family Physicians.Dr. Haqqie graduated from Dow Medical College in Pakistan and served both her internship and residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network and Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Before joining NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, Dr. Haqqie practiced at walk-in and urgent care settings in Manhattan. She lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters, and enjoys gardening, baking and cooking in her free time.
