Lancaster Medical Center offers kidney transplants, robotic surgery, acute care, diagnostic services, women’s health, orthopaedic services, cardiac services, general and laparoscopic surgery, rehabilitation, emergency treatment, wound care, and more. Lancaster Medical Center is a Primary Stroke Center as designated by the Joint Commission. The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Medical Services for Children Program has recognized the Emergency Department as a “Pediatric Ready” hospital. It is the fourth emergency department in the state to achieve this recognition.
