Eugene J. Kim, DDS, brings an impressive background in education and training and a passion for improving patient outcomes to his practice at Pinnacle Peak Oral Surgery & Dental Implants in Scottsdale, Arizona. Education has always played a central role in Dr. Kim’s life. He completed his undergraduate work in biology at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, where he graduated magna cum laude. Next came a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. 
Dr. Kim began his dental career in Arizona and Colorado in 2002. He’s proud of his time as a dental director of Clinica Campesina in Thornton, Colorado, where he helped expand the dental program to meet the needs of underserved patients in the community. He also shared his skills and knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals through a preceptorship at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Aurora.  
An oral and maxillofacial residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, helped Dr. Kim further refine his skill set. As the nation’s largest oral and maxillofacial surgery program, with seven clinics and operating room rotations, his time at Montefiore helped Dr. Kim gain a deeper understanding of complex oral surgery needs and solutions. 
Dr. Kim remains committed to staying at the forefront of his field. He pursues ongoing educational opportunities and training in the latest tools and techniques.
