Brian Meehan, MD PC

A member of The American College of Physicians & The New York State Medical Society, Dr. Brian G. Meehan takes great pride in offering holistic, whole-being focused medical care from his private Internal Medicine practice in New York City, with locations in the Financial District and SoHo (new SoHo location opening soon). 
On staff at both NYU Langone Medical Center and The Mount Sinai Medical Center; and Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Meehan is committed to providing excellent care for his patients, with an emphasis on the wellness of the entire individual as part of his medical philosophy. He listens to his patients, and spends quality time with them, in order to understand the life circumstances affecting their overall well-being. He then draws on his expertise to set patients on a path to good health. Over the years he has won Patients’ Choice awards for his compassion, diagnostic skills, and bedside manner. 
Dr. Meehan earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his internship at The Yale New Haven Medical Center, followed by his residency in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. 
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Meehan has cared for patients in both private practice and as medical director of a health center. Outside of his practice, he serves as a clinical instructor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, one of the nation's premier institutions of excellence in health care and medical research. 
In his spare time, Dr. Meehan is a musician and accomplished classical singer, having performed as a Lyric Baritone with both The New York Lyric Opera & The New York Grand Opera.
