Dr. Brietta Forbes, MD

Dr. Brietta K. Forbes is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care specialist with Menorah Pulmonary and Critical Care Consultants in Overland Park, Kan. She is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center. Over the course of her training, Dr. Forbes received numerous awards as an outstanding resident, compassionate caregiver, and instructor for medical students. After earning her BA in English and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Kansas. Her academic interests include general pulmonary and critical care medicine as well as literature in medicine. Dr. Forbes is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and the American College of Physicians.
