Sophia Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is a pediatric hospitalist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2011. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and completed her residency in pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Chen is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is an advisory board member of Northeast Ohio Christian Medical and Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Chen is an associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
