I grew up on a farm in the Youngstown area. I didn't decide to become a doctor until college, when my love of science and caring for kids merged. I've been married to my husband, John, for nearly 30 years. We have two sons - Jonathan and Scott. Both are in college. I earned my medical degree at the Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
