Malik E. Ashe, Sr, MD

Malik E. Ashe, M.D. is a board-certified family medicine provider who practices at MUSC Health – Lowry’s Primary Care in Chester, SC. Dr. Ashe is a graduate of MoreHouse College and completed his medical degree at S.U.N.Y Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his family medicine residency at UMDNJ at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Ashe also did a sports medicine fellowship at Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He has been a team physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Washington Wild Things Baseball team, as well as a Hampton High School team doctor.Dr. Ashe is a member of the following professional organizations: American Medical Association, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.When Dr. Ashe isn’t busy taking care of his patients, he enjoys real estate and precious metals investing.
