Ian Donald Kane, MD

Ian Kane, M.D. is an assistant professor of pediatric emergency medicine and a physician at MUSC. He graduated from medical school at MUSC before completing his pediatrics residency and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Before joining the faculty at MUSC he was an attending physician at Children's Colorado in Denver. Dr. Kane is the associate PEM fellowship director and the division coordinator for medical student and resident education. He has lectured nationally at ACEP and was a co-director of the pediatric simulation course at ACEP in 2019. In his free time he enjoys short walks on the beach, candlelit dinners with screaming children, and building sturdy furniture in his garage.
