Dr. Steven Schiebert - NJ Spine & Orthopedic

Dr. Steven Schiebert is a practitioner of osteopathic medicine, with 10 years of surgical experience in orthopedics and 25 years of training in general surgical techniques. Dr. Schiebert was board-certified in General Surgery in the USSR, before he immigrated to the United States, where he studied osteopathy at the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine. Completing his DO in 2007, Dr. Schiebert went on to perform a four-year residency in orthopedic surgery at North Shore/Plainview Hospital. Subsequently, he completed an additional year of specialty training in spine surgery at Brown Warren Alpert Medical School.

Currently, Dr. Schiebert practices osteopathic medicine at NJ Spine & Orthopedic, where he specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including spinal fusion, artificial disc replacement, and spinal decompression procedures such as laminectomy and foraminotomy. As a DO, Dr. Schiebert believes in providing outstanding preventative care, conservative treatment alternatives, and evidence-based pain management techniques.
