Abdel-Ghani Azzouqa, M.D.

Dr. Abdel-Ghani Azzouqa is a Hematologist and Oncologist at Monument Health Cancer Care Institute. He received his medical degree at the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan. Dr. Azzouqa completed a residency in Internal Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and also completed an Internal Medicine Transitional Residency at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan. He completed his Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Azzouqa is fluent in Arabic and English. He has volunteered with Operation Smile and has helped raise awareness about health issues such as AIDS, hypertension, diabetes and obesity. Nurse leaders at Mayo Clinic gave Dr. Azzouqa the Above and Beyond Recognition Award for his contributions to teamwork. In his free time, he spends time with his family and Golden Retriever and can be found hiking or doing other dog-friendly activities. He also enjoys playing guitar, swimming, diving and astrophysics.
