Dr. Mark Hunt

Dr. Hunt specializes in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He is the Director of the Triangle Dental Institute, which provides training to dentists all over the country on how to place and restore dental implants. He earned his BA and DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).

Dr. Hunt's patients love him for his ability to explain complex dental procedures in a way that is both enlightening and entertaining. They appreciate the way he listens to their concerns, outlines all of the available courses of action, and works with them to choose the treatment plan that is right for them.

Dr. Hunt has never met a stranger. He is famous for his laugh, which can be heard from near or far.

In 2007, Dr. Hunt established the Triangle Dental Institute to educate dentists in dental implants and bone grafting. The Institute offers a seven-month continuing education course that includes lectures from the country's leading experts, live surgeries, and hands-on training.

Dr. Hunt and his staff have organized 11 dental mission trips to Haiti and Central America through the East Chapel Hill Rotary Club.

Dr. Hunt enjoys horticulture, landscape design, bocce ball, travel, a good hot dog, and spending time with his family and friends.
