Jane Schneider, MD - Schweiger Dermatology Group

Dr. Jane Schneider is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at Schweiger Dermatology Group in New York City. Dr. Schnieder graduated with honors from Harvard University.

She went on to earn an MFA in theater dramaturgy at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Schneider then decided to go to medical school and earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, where she was awarded the Norman Bailey Berniker Prize for exemplifying the precepts of Hippocrates and Maimonides, as well as a Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation (awarded to outstanding women in her class) and a Gershon Award, which supported a year of research. She then completed her internship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, and went on to train in dermatology at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn.

In addition to seeing patients at Schweiger Dermatology Group, Dr. Schneider is an attending physician at the Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
