Kumuda Ranjan, MD - Closed

Kumuda Ranjan, M.D., graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University. She earned her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College-IC, Manipal and American University of Antigua. She was a valedictorian of her class and graduated with Summa Cum Laude. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Ranjan completed her residency in family medicine at Rutgers-Robertwood Johnson Family Medicine at Capital Health. She was awarded the Best Resident of the Year for two consecutive years. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She believes in a multifaceted approach to treating and caring for her patients which involves integrating physical, mental and emotional aspects of health. She stresses the importance of preventative care and patient education to improve overall health and wellness. Dr. Ranjan resides in Marietta with her husband and her two sons. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, doing adventure sports, traveling and exploring new places. Dr. Ranjan welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
