Henry Patton, M.D., earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and then completed his residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. As a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Patton is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. Dr. Patton has served the community for over 30 years as a primary care physician. He offers comprehensive preventive care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease and arthritis. In his spare time, Dr. Patton enjoys gardening, genealogy and history. He loves to spend time with his family, especially his nine grandchildren. He has served as the chair of the Newton County Board of Health since 1983. He is an active volunteer at the Willing Helper’s Clinic, providing care to the indigent population of Newton County.
