Shannon Lotus Ashley, M.D., graduated from Spelman College with a bachelors degree in biology and earned her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her Family and Preventative Medicine residency with the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Ashley is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Her interests include preventive healthcare, women's health and weight management including childhood obesity and nutrition. In her spare time, Dr. Ashley enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, being outdoors and cooking. Dr. Ashley welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
