Lauren W. Powell, MD

Dr. Powell specializes in comprehensive and preventative health care and provides care for patients age 12 years and older. She offers in-office procedures such as pap smears, Nexplanon insertion, wart cryotherapy, basic sutures, skin tag removals, and weight loss counseling. Dr. Powell places special emphasis on nutrition and the value of diet on disease management and prevention. She has a unique ability to connect and form relationships with her patients, allowing her to identify individual barriers to achieving optimal health. Dr. Powell has a special interest in culinary medicine and medicine in media. In her spare time, Dr. Powell enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
