John Hurst, Jr., MD - Closed

Dr. Hurst specializes in general and invasive cardiology. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor medical society. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He completed his cardiology fellowship training at the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Hurst is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He is the former president of Cardiology of Georgia and has recently been elected chairman of Cardiovascular Services at Piedmont Hospital.
