O’Brien joined Operation Enduring Freedom, where he served in Kabul, Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013. Upon returning home to his wife and three daughters, O’Brien realized he had unique opportunity at hand. He created Inspect It Austin as way to meld his unparalleled expertise in building with the chance to provide meaningful and empowering work for his fellow combat veterans.
