I decided to go into medicine due to a personal experience. During that difficult time, the nurses made a huge impact on my life. I decided to specialize in family medicine because I like to watch the entire family grow up. I enjoy seeing families and being able to educate my patients to the best of my ability about disease process to keep them out of the ER. The type of care my patients will receive when they come to see me is a wholistic approach. The most gratifying part of practicing medicine is to get a simple thank you. Growing up in rural Oklahoma, I am looking forward to getting back to a rural community and helping patients in Watonga.
