I love getting to meet people from different backgrounds, getting to learn a little bit about them and how I can help them reach their health goals. I really enjoy getting to know what makes people tick and having those conversations about what do we want to get out of our visit. That's what's really in it for me. The most gratifying part of practicing medicine for me is seeing the relief and understanding on a patient's face after we've had a conversation. A lot of times, coming to the doctor can be a scary experience and we never know, as patients, what's going to be on the other side for us. Being able to help people understand what's going on, form a plan and know what to do going forward, that's gratifying for me.
