As a physician I took an oath to take care of the patient's immediate physical ailments and needs in the short term in a compassionate, concise, and cost effective manner. Listening and hearing the patent out on all of these physical needs, even if it takes several visits, would be of the most benefit to the patient as a whole. I also feel I can improve a patient's overall wellness through visits that focus on preventing disease through simple testing, individual counseling, and great attention to personal health habits especially diet and exercise.
