Marcus Alan Henderson, DO

The treatment of breast cancer is truly a multi-disciplinary effort, and I enjoy working with a team of clinicians to help produce the best outcomes for our patients. As a board certified general surgeon, I am involved in a wide variety of surgeries including both complex inpatient and simpler outpatient procedures. I have a special interest in the treatment of breast cancer. I am a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and serve as the Mercy Cancer Physician Liaison for the Commission on Cancer with the American College of Surgeons. Research in the field of breast oncology is always expanding, and I enjoy helping my patients understand their breast cancer treatment options so they can make educated care decisions while contributing to the search for a cure. Playing a part in each patient's journey towards better health is what makes my work rewarding.
