Alice Joy Mankin, MD

I grew up caring about people and their lives. Choosing family medicine is a natural extension of wanting to help others -- moms with babies, kids and teens with sports physicals, as well as routine wellness exams for the entire family. My goals as a physician are to be a good partner with patients to achieve healthcare goals, to be an active listener, and to encourage healthy choices. My own family's growth and development help me understand the importance of having a holistic approach to wellness and of planning for healthy lifestyles. I enjoy meeting new people. Being board certified in family medicine means I often serve entire families, which makes sense medically and is a joy in my day, too.
