Appalachian Insurance Agency was formed from the merger and acquisitions of several agencies dating back to 1981. As an Independent Insurance Agency with offices in Georgia and North Carolina representing over fifty companies, we are able to find the right company with the proper coverage at the best price for our clients. We are a member of Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance a national insurance organization of Independent Agents supporting each other. Unlike many agencies we are not limited to a few select companies that we are obligated to; our only obligation is to serve our clients.

Our principals are involved in the local community holding positions in Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, Kiwanis, American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and others. Appalachian Insurance Agency is a member of Independent Insurance Agent Association.
