Englewood Bank & Trust was established in 1988 in Englewood, Florida. Today, Englewood Bank & Trust is part of a four-bank holding company with total assets of more than $1.5 billion. In addition to Englewood Bank & Trust, Crews Banking Corporation owns Crews Bank & Trust, Charlotte State Bank & Trust and Wauchula State Bank. Each bank has its own president and decisions are made locally in each of these markets. J.W. “Bill” Crews Jr. serves as Chairman for Crews Banking Corporation and Vice Chairman for Wauchula State Bank, with his grandson, J.W. “Jake” Crews IV, serving as CEO of Englewood Bank & Trust.
