Growing up in the hills of western North Carolina, Jeff Darnell has always had one goal in life: to bring mountain-fresh produce to the people of his community. He believes that when you love the land, it loves you back. So, with a little red truck and whole ‘lotta of hard work, he created Darnell Farms. And he’s loved this place ever since.
Today, his best crop ever, son, Nate, and daughter, Afton are continuing his legacy. They spend every day committed to their land and community. And that includes bringing you the best family farm experience in the Great Smoky Mountains.
