Dr. Johnston completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola College in Baltimore, then earned her medical degree at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. She stayed in Florida to complete her family practice residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville. After finishing that residency in 2000, she moved to Brevard County and has practiced medicine here ever since. 
Years of experience and extensive medical training enable Dr. Johnston to provide a wide range of family medicine services. She serves patients ages five and up, including annual and sports physicals and treatment of a range of chronic medical problems, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. In fact, Dr. Johnston is so dedicated to providing a true family medicine approach that she practiced alongside her father, Glenn R. Johnston, MD, until his retirement. Today, Dr. Glenn Johnston still continues to serve the Melbourne community as a SUBOXONE® physician.
