Naab Road Surgical Group is a leading surgical practice located in Indianapolis. Having served the community for more than 45 years, the practice was founded by E. Dale Habegger, MD, in 1972 under the name of General, Thoracic, and Pediatric Surgery Corporation, with David W. Price, MD, on the team. In 1989, it became the Naab Road Surgical Group.
The mission of Naab Road Surgical Group is to optimize the quality, cost, and long-term effectiveness of surgical procedures to provide the pinnacle of comprehensive general surgical care to its patients.
Naab Road Surgical Group is composed of ten exceptional surgeons who cover a wide spectrum of general surgery specialties, including breast diseases, surgical oncology, esophageal surgeries, trauma surgery, robotic and laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries. The majority of the team has been named as “Top Docs” as many as three times by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.
Naab Road Surgical Group prides itself on providing a full spectrum of general surgery services at the forefront of medical and surgical technological development. The practice was the first surgical group in Indianapolis to have a surgeon dedicated to the treatment of breast disease, and in the mid-1990s, it was one of the first practices to perform laparoscopic hernia and cholecystectomy (gallbladder) surgery.
