Elias Paikal, MD, is the medical specialist at Westwood Laser, located in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. With more than 40 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Paikal understands what patients want and need, and utilizes the most advanced tools and techniques to help them achieve their goals.
After graduating from Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Dr. Paikal relocated to the United States to complete his residency training at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He completed his internship at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and his residency at both Kingsbrook and Coney Island Hospital, also in Brooklyn. He then went on to complete his residency and fellowship training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Paikal is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. He’s also licensed to practice medicine in the state of California.
