Christian Rank, MD, is an accomplished physician and author with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He is the founder of bodyMEDx, which provides non-surgical regenerative therapies for orthopedic conditions to patients in Ladera Ranch, California. Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Rank developed his passion for functional and regenerative medicine while healing from a disabling personal back injury.

After graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and cell biology, Dr. Rank earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He went on to complete his residency in emergency medicine at the Martin Luther King/Charles R. Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.
A veteran of both the United States Navy and Air Force, Dr. Rank served in the emergency department while deployed in Iraq. During his career as an emergency physician, he worked with the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Group in Los Angeles, the Chapman Medical Center in Orange, California, and the Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center in Fountain Valley, California.
Dr. Rank has advanced certifications in cardiac life support, trauma life support, and pediatric life support. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
