Robert Strain, DDS

Rob Strain, DDS, is an accredited cosmetic dentist with more than 35 years of experience creating gorgeous smiles. Dr. Strain currently serves the Prescott, Arizona, community at his own practice. One of only three accredited cosmetic dentists in Arizona, he also specializes in general dentistry, sleep disorder dentistry, sedation dentistry, and dental reconstruction.
A Southern California native, Dr. Strain graduated from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1972. Since graduating nearly 47 years ago, Dr. Strain has gone above and beyond to stay up-to-date in the latest advances in dental technology and treatments. Dr. Strain understands that he works in an ever-changing and growing field, which is why he completes more than 75 hours of continuing dental education every year.
With nearly three decades of aesthetic experience, Dr. Strain has had the privilege of working with some of the most talented dentists in the United States. He has close ties to Willi Geller, one of the leading dental ceramists in the world. Between his education and professional experience in aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Strain is constantly striving to hone his skills in crafting the strongest, most beautiful porcelain veneers and metal-free ceramic crowns possible. He is also highly trained in laser dentistry and dental makeovers.
What makes Dr. Strain different than other dentists in Arizona is that he is an artist. A member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Strain is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Dentists Organization for Conscious Sedation. He volunteers for Rebuilding America’s Warriors and Give Back A Smile. When he is not in the office, Dr. Strain and his wife, Barbara, enjoy hiking, tennis, golf, and bridge.
