For thirteen years, Justin Alexander Permijo (JP), has passionately developed brands and built businesses. With calculated risk-taking matched with impeccable instincts, JP has worked with hundreds of brands in music, marketing and technology. Always at the forefront of what’s next, JP prides himself on supporting the next generation of culture, alongside the next generation of creators, producers and artists. Fearlessly, and with big heart, JP tackles start-up businesses. His knack for identifying and quickly solving business challenges has led to the successful launch or management of blue chip brands over the years. Beginning his career on a historic note; JP co-created the infamous McDonald’s song and campaign “I’m Lovin’ It.”
On a high note and with his passion for music driving his next move, JP moved on to launch chart topping hits as owner and manager of the Fresh Management group in Los Angeles. While there, JP managed to executive produce two major label releases, resulting in four Top 20 Billboard hits. All while acting as Executive Producer and Creative Director of many of the labels most popular video content and music videos.
JP’s next big move was to hit the road with Mr. Sean “Diddy” Combs acting as Road Manager while overseeing excellence in all aspect show production; on the stage and behind-the-scenes. Ever the visionary, JP next pursued the burgeoning mobile technology market. With his vast brand and music experience, JP married both worlds at 212db. While there, he managed to bring together 110 recording artists with 23 internationally recognized brands on the PLAY GIG IT mobile APP platform. JP’s unique mix of artistic empathy and business acumen enables him to be the conduit to various successful collaborations benefiting both creator and marketer. With that in mind, JP took on his biggest challenge to date, to tackle a brand new market as a key leader and contributor to The Box Brands. Leading this automated fast food upstart was no easy feat. During his tenure, JP managed to drive growth and monetize this new product globally through strategic partnerships in a multi billion dollar space. With an eye on the future, JP is eager to continue his legacy of supporting upstarts; marrying the visual arts, technology, culture and music. Telling these stories to the widest possible audience in the medium of their choice.
