Bhora, Faiz Y.

Dr. Faiz Y. Bhora is system chief of thoracic surgery and thoracic oncology program at Nuvance Health. Prior to his current position, he was the chief of thoracic surgery in the Mount Sinai Health System. He is nationally and internationally known for his expertise in robotic and advanced airway surgery, including surgery for lung and esophagus cancer. Dr. Bhora is a recognized surgeon scientist, and has been involved in translational research and in resident and medical student education. Dr. Bhora is president of the New York General Thoracic Surgical Club (NYGTSC), and past president of the Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society (ECTSS). He holds leadership positions in most major thoracic medical societies and is listed annually in Castle Connolly and other peer-reviewed best doctor lists.
