Mackey & Mackey Insurance Agency traces its roots back to 1948 when Adam Serpa established Adam Serpa Insurance in Hanford, California. The agency has been family owned and operated ever since.

In 1975, Jim & Kathy Mackey, Adam Serpa's son-in-law and daughter joined the agency to create Serpa-Mackey Insurance Agency. Together the family formed a strong alliance of insurance experience that laid the foundation for what would develop into a rapidly growing agency. Jim and Kathy would later fully purchase the agency to form Mackey & Mackey Insurance Agency, Inc.

Jason Mackey joined the family business in 1998 and was followed by his brother Adam Mackey in 2006. Together the brothers represent the continuation of the agency for a third generation.

Over the years, Mackey & Mackey has grown from a small local business to a statewide agency known for its experience and expertise in handling everything from small personal accounts to large commercial accounts. As we continue to grow…we look forward to working with you!
