Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

Working as an Internist in Cincinnati I took care of two patients with advanced colon cancer. I realized then the importance of colorectal cancer screening in saving lives. I subsequently decided to pursue a career in Gastroenterology.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Colorectal Cancer Screening, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, GERD and Barrettes Esophagus.
