Dr. I. Brian Greenwell is a hematologist and medical oncologist taking care of patients with hematologic malignancies, as well as patients undergoing bone marrow or stem cell transplant. His area of expertise is in lymphoma, including uncommon lymphomas such as mantle cell lymphoma and T-cell lymphomas. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Greenwell attended MUSC for medical school. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Emory University. At Emory, he published as an active clinical investigator and was selected as a LCRMP Scholar by the Lymphoma Research Foundation.He now returns to MUSC and is excited to collaborate with oncologists throughout South Carolina in order to provide care for lymphoma, bone marrow transplant, and other hematologic malignancy patients.
