Dr. Bao-Thuy Hoang is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon in Inverness, Florida. He received his medical degree and surgical residency from University of Florida College of Medicine, where he earned multiple awards including Intern of the Year, Excellence in Trauma, and the ?Outstanding Resident Educator? award from the Society of Teaching Scholars. He then completed his cardiovascular and thoracic surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; both ranked in the top three cardiothoracic centers in the United States of America. He is a member of numerous surgical societies including the Society of Thoracic Surgeon and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is double board certified and he specializes in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery including minimal incision surgery for both lung and heart disease.
