"Sports are an integral part of Dr. Magrini’s life, and she wants others to experience these same benefits. Being an athlete is not always easy but it’s amazingly rewarding. Having gone through many trials and tribulations in her athletic endeavors, she hopes to pass on tips and pearls to keep her patients healthy, happy and thriving. Injuries will happen, it’s inevitable, but it’s the response to injury that can be critical. As a pediatric provider, Dr. Magrini imparts practical and preventative advice during her patient visits. Trying to prevent the sequela of early sport specialization, reducing risks of ACL injuries and helping athletes avoid the milieu of relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S) are just a few of the areas she likes to explore with patients and their families. Dr. Magrini is involved in research projects and organizations geared at pediatric conditions; she hopes to help further the body of literature in this age group and be on the cusp of treatment protocols. Getting kids back to sport is a key focus of hers, but making sure they do so in an appropriate time frame when ready from a musculoskeletal standpoint is paramount. "
