Ami L. Batchelder, PA-C

"Amy is a 2019 Seattle Met Top Doctor Award winner. Since 1997 Ami Batchelder, PA-C, has been passionate about working with patients affected by blood cancers. Initially in charge of research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and clinical work with the hematology program at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Ami brings her experience and patient focused care to the Swedish Cancer Institute. Her years of compassionate care combined with dedication to research and furthering cancer therapies makes her a unique member of SCI's multidisciplinary team. Her mission in caring for people with cancer is to provide the most holistic care for patients, but also to make the experience as positive and informative as possible. Patient advocacy is very important to her, and she is especially interested in forming partnerships between patients and the care team, empowering patients so they are informed about their treatment and part of the decision-making process."
