I believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to health and illness. Treatment of a person should involve education, traditional and complementary medical approaches and an emphasis on return to activity and prevention of recurrent injury. I believe in empowering people to take charge of their own well-being by helping them be aware of how health involves not just an understanding of their medical diagnoses, but an understanding of how their conditions can influence and are influenced by their mental health and interpersonal relationships.
