Yakov Gologorsky, MD

Dr. Yakov Gologorsky is a compassionate and caring neurosurgeon and specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with top honors and as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. During his residency he was chosen to complete an infolded fellowship in Functional, Stereotactic, and Restorative Neurosurgery with an emphasis on the treatment of movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease and Tremor, as well as psychiatric disorders, such as Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Tourette Syndrome, with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
