Incorporated in 2006, Allegheny Environmental Services, Inc. (AESI) is a woman-owned environmental consulting company based in southwestern Pennsylvania. The company is owned and operated by Ms. Karen Souza, PG (a professional geologist, licensed in the State of Pennsylvania). Ms. Souza has over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting. Her areas of expertise include management consulting services (for a Fortune 100 company), hydrogeological site investigations, modeling and data analysis, human health risk assessments, RCRA/CERCLA/PA Act 2 programs and vapor intrusion assessments.

AESI provides cost-effective consulting and field services to our clients located throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky. Our services include management consulting services (for corporate legacy projects), environmental site investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, environmental due diligence (Phase I and II environmental site assessments [ESAs]), human health risk assessments, vapor intrusion assessments and environmental permitting and compliance support.
