Smith, MD is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in headache medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. She received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern Medical School, and completed a residency in neurology as well as a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Houston Methodist Hospital.  Dr. Smith also performed a fellowship in headache medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.Dr. Smith specializes in neuro-ophthalmology, headache medicine and concussion care.
